Long-lost rock ‘n’ roll history uncovered almost 50 years later

A rare piece of music history has been uncovered.

Led Zeppelin toured Australia in 1972, and a rare interview featuring drummer John Bonham was conducted to promote the tour.

Mr Bonham died in 1980 and did not give many interviews.

Luke Grant spoke to Thorsten Kaeding, Curator and Archivist with the National Film and Sound Archives of Australia.

He recently rediscovered the recording, and has added it to the National Archive.

Click play to listen to the recording and the interview.
