As the bushfires continue to rage across Queensland and New South Wales, Greens activists are trying to claim it’s all because of climate change.

That’s despite police confirming at least one of the major blazes was started by young children.

Officers are also speaking to a group of teenagers, believed to be responsible for starting the fire on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

Former Queensland Premier Campbell Newman has also posted two articles from the 1950s, proving severe bushfires are anything but a new phenomenon.
