$3.8 billion plan to increase weapons exports funded by taxpayers
Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has unveiled a new plan to dramatically increase the number of weapons produced and exported.
Australia is currently ranked 20 globally for defence exports but under this new plan, the aim is to break into the top 10.
The blueprint includes a $3.8 billion fund of taxpayer money to loan to companies who want to sell overseas.
