30 Sydney suburbs urged to restrict water use
Sydneysiders in 30 suburbs have been urged to restrict unnecessary water usage.
The advice is due to issues with dirt and debris affecting the functionality of the Orchard Hills water filtration plant.
Bernie Sheridan from Sydney water said “it’s struggling to keep up with demand, with the conditions of the raw water … where [people] can conserve water over the next days … we’re asking them to do that.
“We’ve got people working around the clock to tune the plant.”
