Food wastage has now become a huge problem in Australia, and retailers aren’t stocking produce due to them thinking it’s “too ugly”.

Paul Milano is a farmer working with the brand ‘Good & Fugly’ and told Luke Grant how often food is being thrown out.

“There is really nothing wrong with the eating quality, but the retailers just won’t take it on because it doesn’t look good.”

Good & Fugly has instead embraced ‘ugly’ foods and is now giving people the opportunity to buy food that is cheaper.
