Saturday, November 13 will mark the 30th year of McHappy Day, and the countdown has begun with Eva Longoria revealed as the 2021 ambassador.

Ronald McDonald House Charities CEO Barbara Ryan told Mark Levy $56 million has been raised over the decades to fund the organisation’s various care and education programs.

“Every single dollar that comes in on McHappy Day goes to help families and seriously ill and injured children, really when they need it most.”

While the day’s fanfare has gone virtual due to COVID, in locked down states Ms Ryan hopes customers will support the cause through drive-through and delivery.

“You can do that even from the 20th of October – you can go in and buy a helping hand or silly socks.”
