70-kilometre journey no more: Trangie locals finally get new petrol station
NSW Minister for Agriculture and Western NSW Dugald Saunders has given an update on when Trangie can expect to have a petrol station again.
The small community was left without a petrol station and residents have been forced to travel up to 70 kilometres just for fuel.
Mr Saunders told Ray Hadley a locally-owned service provider has purchased the old land where the previous station used to sit.
“We now have the forms through … access to the land and Transport NSW has informed the council to work through issues to get a station up and running.”
