Overuse of river system and drought to blame for mass fish death

Questions are being asked, and the blame is being shifted at who’s responsible for the death of up to one million fish in the Lower Darling River.

Politicians and bureaucrats argue its a direct result of drought, but locals dismiss the argument claiming its mismanagement by politicians and the Murray-Darling Basin Authority.

Rural reporter Eddie Summerfield caught up with the MDBA Chief Executive Phillip Glyde.
