Ex-bikie caught with freshwater crocodile
A saltwater crocodile, luxury cars and cash have been seized inside a Sydney home.
A former Finks outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) member has been charged over the alleged possession of an unlicensed crocodile and stolen property in Sydney’s west.
During the search of the Colebee home last month, investigators located cash, a Mercedes Benz sedan with Victorian number plates, two Yamaha trail motorcycles, a jet ski and trailer, all believed to have been stolen.
Investigators also located a freshwater crocodile, which was seized as the residents did not hold a Wildlife Exhibitors Licence.
Following further inquiries, Strike Force Raptor arrested a 24-year-old man at the Colebee home last Friday.
He was taken to Riverstone Police Station and charged with four counts of dealing with property suspected of being proceeds of crime, two counts of possess motor vehicle or vessel where unique identifier has been interfered with and dealing in protected animals.
The former bikie has been granted strict conditional bail and is due to appear at Blacktown Local Court on Monday 29 April 2019.
