Prime Minister Scott Morrison says the most important economic document released this week isn’t his own budget, but rather Labor’s climate policy.

Treasurer Josh Frydenberg delivered his first budget last night, announcing the nation is on the cusp of its first surplus since 2007.

Earlier this week, the Opposition unveiled its climate change policy, including a mandate for half of all new cars sold to be electric by 2030.

Alan Jones tells the PM Bill Shorten released “most important economic document this week” with his “dangerous” energy policy.

The Prime Minister agrees.

“Well, he did!”

With just weeks to go until the election, Mr Morrison is going on the attack.

“Labor is going to tax the economy into non-existence.

“I don’t know what the point of working hard would be under a Labor government.

“The harder you work, the more they tax you.”
