Large crowds expected at Sydney Fish Market
Good Friday is the busiest day of the year for the Sydney Fish Market.
The largest working fish market in the southern hemisphere has extended trading hours today, open from 5am to 5pm.
Sydney Fish Market general manager Bryan Skepper tells Chris Smith they are expecting to sell about 650 tonnes of seafood to 50,000 visitors today.
“At some of the shops, people were queuing up about four in the morning.
“The crowds are building and it’s a beautiful day.”
