2GB newsreader Amie Meehan has written a popular article about her battle with cancer.

Amie wrote the article, published on 9Honey, about having to tell her children about her cancer diagnosis.

She tells Ben Fordham she didn’t realise the article had gone to number one on the 9Honey website.

“There’s always so much you can say but it was definitely something that came from the heart.”
