A NSW Police officer has been dealt the cruellest blow imaginable, diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Earlier this month, Damien Knowles received the heartbreaking news.

The 39-year-old has been married to his wife Krystle for 10 years and they have two beautiful little girls – Indi, aged 9, and Maya, aged 6.

With chemotherapy, doctors hope Damien will live for another couple of years.

Damien’s colleagues have contacted Ray Hadley, desperately asking for help for his family.

They’ve set up a fundraising page for people to donate.

Ray says he’ll do whatever he can to help the family out and has urged listeners to help out if they can.

“We wish Damien, Krystle and the girls the best we can possibly wish them in the most difficult, difficult of circumstances.
