An emotional Vietnam veteran has called The Steve Price Show to personally thank Steve for helping him get through a tough time.

Graham, a Vietnam veteran from Brisbane, previously appealed to Steve for help after hearing him speak at length about the plight of veterans in our country.

Upon hearing Graham’s heartbreaking story, Steve immediately put him in touch with the CEO of Wounded Heroes, Martin Shaw.

Graham breaks down as he tells Steve how the organisation has changed his life.

“A genuine thank you from my heart. You gave me Wounded Heroes about a month ago.

“I met one of the most humble, nice blokes, Martin Shaw. He wasn’t all words and crap. He had one thing, Steve, action. And that’s what vets need. He should be Australian of the Year, this man.”

Steve was touched by the call, but heaped the praise back onto Martin Shaw.

“He has put his heart and soul into that organisation and I hope he can help you through whatever you’re going through Graham, and I know that you’re doing it tough.”
