Child dies after being hit by a car outside primary school
A child is dead is after being hit by a car outside a school in Sydney’s south.
A listener reported the incident to Alan Jones, just before 9am, telling him the boy was trapped underneath a car.
The witness said, “a person is wedged under the vehicle.”

Police say a 12-year-old boy was hit by a car on Forest Rd, outside Hurstville Public School.
Officers have been told the car allegedly failed to stop at a red light, hitting the boy as he was crossing an intersection.
He was taken to hospital in critical condition but pronounced dead on arrival.
The 36-year-old male driver has been charged with manslaughter and dangerous driving occasioning death while disqualified.
Acting Superintendent Craig James tells Ben Fordham a number of people tried to perform CPR on the boy before emergency services arrived.
“As a parent, I don’t know how [the family] will be feeling.
“It really has impacted a lot of people.”
