‘It’s quite ridiculous’: Kings Cross should be included in lockout laws repeal
The Keep Sydney Open director says Kings Cross should be included in a repeal of the controversial lockout laws.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian has announced she wants the 1.30am lockouts lifted in the CBD but to remain in place in Kings Cross.
She says “it’s time to enhance Sydney’s nightlife” but promises community safety will remain a priority.
Keep Sydney Open director Tyson Koh tells Steve Price is doesn’t make sense to exclude Kings Cross.
“Personally, I think that Kings Cross should have the lockouts removed as well.

“Kings Cross is not the same place that it was 10 years ago.”
