Face of 40-year-old skull finally revealed
Investigators have used digital reconstruction to visualise the face of a skull found nearly two decades ago by children playing in Sydney bushland.
The skull has remained unidentifiable since it was found in St Helens Park, despite extensive forensic analysis.
Forensic experts believe the male aged 35 to 45 died between 1980 to 1985.
Now, a Scotland university has conducted a digital facial reconstruction.
Police are encouraging anyone who recognises the man to come forward.
The Daily Telegraph’s Mark Morri tells John Stanley detectives discovered he was right-handed.
“All this profiling that they built up is just fascinating and their determination to keep going ahead to try and find it.”
