Hungry Jack’s founder: “Millennial crowd” driving development of factory made burger patty
Fast food companies in Australia are finding themselves needing to adapt to the rise of vegetarian, flexitarian and vegan diets.
The CSIRO and Hungry Jacks has teamed together forming v2food.
The joint venture has now started construction of a new factory in Victoria’s North East in Wodonga, that’ll be home to making factory produced patties.
In a broad reaching interview with Macquarie’s rural reporter Eddie Summerfield, Hungry Jacks Founder Jack Cowin speaks about the changing eating habits of consumers, the new “patty factory” in Wodonga, and what the future of fast food looks like in Australia.
