Police have issued an emergency warning after a baby girl and her mother went missing from Sydney’s west earlier this week.
At 2pm on Tuesday, 29-year-old Sarah Hodgson and her 15-month-old daighter Peta Hodgson left their home on Magellan Avenue at Lethbridge Park and haven’t been seen since.
Police say, “there are extreme concerns for the safety of the child” and have issued an urgent ‘Amber Alert’, asking the public to report any sightings of the pair.
Sarah Hodgson is known to frequent the Mt Druitt, Lethbridge Park, Penrith and Wentworthville areas and is believed to be travelling on public transport.
She’s described as Caucasian, with long light brown hair and brown eyes. She’s about 150cm tall with a heavy build.
Her daughter Peta is described as Caucasian, with blond curly hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and a nappy.
