RFS donates to the homeless in the spirit of Christmas
The Rural Fire Service has donated to the homeless this Christmas as Reverend Bill Crews prepares to feed more than 3000 people on the festive day.
The Reverend’s Exodus Foundation aims to give the homeless and lonely a place to go, feeding up to 1000 hungry people a day.
Rev. Crews tells Natalie Peters and Erin Molan they have had a lot of help preparing the big lunch.
“The Rural Fire Service has just given us some 3000 bottles of water to give to people.
“In the middle of all the dramas they’ve got, they think enough about homeless people to give them a drink.”
