What does the ‘B’ stand for? Paul B Kidd opens up ahead of new show
The great Paul B Kidd returns to your airwaves this weekend in a brand new show with John Stanley.
Weekends with John and Paul will air every Saturday and Sunday afternoon (2-6pm in NSW, 1-5pm in QLD).
Despite being separated from his long-term partner in crime, George Moore, Paul B is raring to go.
He’s bringing with him all of your old favourites, including the quiz with the infamous quiz master Dolly, the much-loved Crime File and so much more.
Ahead of the new show, John Stanley grilled his new co-host about “one of the great mysteries” surrounding his illustrious broadcasting career.
John: “What does the B stand for?”.
Paul: “I’m going to let you in on the truth,” says Paul. “You ready for it?”
“When I started writing in May 1970, there were two other Paul Kidd’s out there. So I whacked a B in the middle, which is my middle name.”
John: “You still haven’t explained what the B stands for,” says John.
