Over 7000 Australian doctors have thrown their support behind an open letter pleading for governments to ramp up their response to the growing danger of COVID-19, led by intensive care specialist Dr Greg Kelly.

“We accept how difficult this is for the Australian people and the Australian Government. […] Without these measures, we are very worried that we remain on track for an Italian or UK style disaster.”
