How we feel about a post-Covid Australia

71 per cent of Australians believe Covid-19 restrictions and lockdowns should be lifted as soon as possible, or soon after National Cabinet’s agreed vaccination threshold has been met.

More than two-thirds of Australians don’t believe returning to zero Covid-19 cases is possible.

The same number think lockdowns should be lifted after 80 per cent of the population is vaccinated. 37 per cent of people want restrictions ended as soon as possible.

These are just some of the statistics released in a new report titled ‘Attitudes to a post-Covid Australia’.

Robert Carling, former senior New South Wales and Commonwealth Treasury official and Senior Fellow at the Centre for Independent Studies co-authored the report.

He joined Luke Grant to discuss some of the findings.
