Taliban ‘more powerful than Australia’ as US leaves weapons behind
The last of the US troops have left Kabul, bringing an official end to the United States’ mission in Afghanistan.
A combined effort from western countries has seen more than 113,000 people rescued since August 14.
The Americans are the last of the Allied forces to exit the country, leaving behind thousands of tons of military hardware.
Former SAS soldier Ray Hudson told Ben Fordham the Taliban now has more “lethal” weapons than Australia.
“We don’t have 100 Black Hawks, we don’t have 350,000 assault rifles.
“The Taliban now are more powerful than Australia, New Zealand and possibly Europe combined.”
