Family’s emotional plea: Three-year-old barred from going home to QLD
A three-year-old boy has been left stranded in NSW, unable to return to Queensland to see his parents for the past two months.
Memphis went to visit his grandparents on a cattle station south of Griffith on July 9.
He’s been unable to return home to his parents, with multiple exemption requests denied, and may not see his parents before Christmas.
His mum, Dominique, told Ben Fordham “I just want my little boy home, that’s all I’m asking”.
“Eight weeks without my little mate has nearly killed me, it’s felt like eight years.”

Grandmother Alex told Ben Fordham Memphis facetimes his parents every day.
“He wants to come home.
“It might be that he thinks that his parents don’t want him … they want him home.”
