A Queensland mother will be reunited with her son, after multiple exemptions to get him home were denied. 

Simone contacted Ben Fordham Live after she hadn’t seen her eight-year-old son for 10 weeks.

He was visiting his father in Sydney during the school holidays and her request for him to return and isolate at home had been denied.

But Queensland Health has now overturned its decision after they were contacted by Ben Fordham.
