‘A bit sad’: NSW Health Minister expresses pity for WA residents
Under NSW’s roadmap out of lockdown, international travel will be considered at 80 per cent double-vaccinated, likely by the end of the year.
The provision could see New South Welshmen travelling around the world before being able to travel domestically into states with low vaccination rates and strict border policies.
NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard told Jim Wilson he “feels sorry” for residents of states such as Western Australia.
“This virus gets in everywhere eventually.
“We’ll be going elsewhere and the poor old WA people will be stuck in WA; I think that’s a bit sad.”
