Mark Levy has been forced to eat his words after the South Sydney Rabbitohs claimed victory over the Penrith Panthers.

Sharks great Paul Gallen was vindicated by the win, having supported the choice of Blake Taaffe at fullback despite Mark’s criticism of the star’s inexperience.

“He was absolutely outstanding,” Gal said.

“I don’t want an apology, all I’m going to say is ‘I told you so’.

“I think they’ll make the Grand Final!”
