Skoda launches 7-year warranty with pre-paid 7-year service packs
Despite the difficulties of customers accessing car showrooms and a global shortage of semi-conductors affecting some models Skoda last month reported nearly a 90 per cent leap in sales compared to August 2020. The Czech brand remains the fastest growing European brand on the market.
Sales to the end of August tallied 7120 surpassing its previous best full year of 7001 in 2019. The first European brand to introduce a standard five-year warranty Skoda has now launched pre-paid 7-year service packs, also offering until December 31, a seven year/unlimited kilometre warranty with each one sold. The first 3 scheduled services are free with the pre-paid 7-year service pack – on the popular small Kamiq SUV for example, the service pack costs $2100. The three-model Skoda Kamiq 110 TSi recently filled the void left by the availability of the sold out 85TSI model.
