Mental health minister ‘back on the tools’ of her former career

NSW Mental Health Minister and former nurse Bronnie Taylor has donned her scrubs once again to help get Cooma vaccinated.

The Nationals MLC told Mark Levy she’s “back on the tools and really enjoying it”, and will continue to take leave from the NSW cabinet for so long as vaccine appointments roll in.

“I rang in to my boss John Barilaro and said, ‘Hey JB, I think I need to keep jabbing’, and he said ‘You just keep doing what you’re doing’, and on we go!

“We really need to push it in Queanbeyan and places like Goulburn as well … we have seen some disparities across southern NSW.

“I did offer to [vaccinate] my ministerial colleagues and didn’t get a huge take-up, but anyone in parliament that wants a jab from Sister Taylor I am at their disposal!”
