Premiership-winning coach Gus Gould reveals tip for seat-gripping NRL Grand Final
Penrith Panthers premiership-winning coach Phil ‘Gus’ Gould is predicting Sunday’s grand final against the Rabbitohs will go down to the wire.
The two sides met in week one of the finals with South Sydney prevailing 16-10.
Gus, who led the Panthers to victory in 1991, told Mark Levy he favours Penrith, but we’re in for another tight contest.
“They’re going to be very very hard to beat, South Sydney.
“I can see three or four tries for the Panthers, and I can see one or two tries for South Sydney, and I think that’s the difference in the two teams.
“You’re going to be sitting on the edge of your seat right til the end of the game.”
