A Queensland mother is worried she will miss her son’s wedding as she waits to return home from NSW.

Belinda travelled to Sydney in mid-September to see her dying mum.

She applied for an entry pass to Queensland, which is yet to be approved, to make it back to her son’s wedding on October 24.

Belinda told Ben Fordham Queensland Health had advised her she’d “be fine” to go to Sydney and make it back in time.

“I need to be in quarantine by this Friday or I’m going to miss out.

“I’m just floating in the system.”
