Meanwhile in the tennis world, the Victorian sports minister has ‘suggested’ all ATP and WTA tour players get vaccinated before coming to Australia.

Australian tennis great Todd Woodbridge pointed out while Novak Djokovic’s vaccine status is often mentioned in the media, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Aryna Sabalenka are also among the stars casting doubts on the vaccine.

“They haven’t mandated it as such yet, but it is out there that you’re going to have such a difficult time.

“Those athletes that don’t do it are the ones that are going to be letting themselves down, because it’s going to be tough for them to compete.”
