David Warner is expected to return to the Indian Premier League in 2022, but will likely farewell Hyderabad.

Wife and Wide World of Sports commentator Candice Warner confirmed to Bill Woods her husband will “most definitely” play in next season’s IPL, “if he’s fortunate enough to be picked up at the auction”.

“Sunrises Hyderabad, his current team, they do have the option to retain him, which they’ve done previously.

“But I don’t think that that will be the case this time around.”
