Racing for a good cause: The twist at this year’s Golden Eagle
Horses will be racing for a good cause at this year’s $7.5 million Golden Eagle.
10 per cent of the winner’s prize money will be donated to a charity of the horse owner’s choice.
Peter Snowden, Trainer of Exoboom, told Ben Fordham the horse is racing for The Fordham Foundation, dedicated to head and neck cancer research.
“God gives us strength tomorrow we can win most of the prize money and help a little bit towards the charity.”
