An incredible story about Bert Newton’s kindness has been shared after his death.

“‘You can’t ever report this until I’ve carked it’, those were his words,” Entertainment Reporter Peter Ford told Ben Fordham.

31 years ago, Mr Ford sent half a dozen cards in addressed envelopes to celebrities, and asked that they sign them and send them to his friend who was dying from AIDS … but Bert went one step further.
