Forbes ‘on a knife’s edge’ despite downgraded flood warnings
The town of Forbes in the NSW central west is remaining on alert, despite dropping flood levels.
A partial all-clear has been given for Forbes, but residents are being warned to stay vigilant, particularly with more wet weather expected over the weekend.
Forbes Shire Council Mayor Phyllis Miller told Ben Fordham they’re “on a knife’s edge”.
“We’re not out of the woods yet because the forecast is for a lot of storms events right throughout the rest of spring and into early summer.”
