Search for William Tyrrell: New Police Commissioner Karen Webb gives latest update
In an exclusive first sit-down interview, Ben Fordham has quizzed the new NSW Police Commissioner on the William Tyrrell case, her vision for the force, and why she became a cop.
As the renewed search for missing toddler William Tyrrell’s remains enters its third week, incoming Police Commissioner Karen Webb told Ben she’s not aware of any material with William’s DNA having been unearthed as of yet.
“There’s no stones [left] unturned.
“It’s been seven years now, and that’s a long time, but we’re not going to give up.”
The new Commissioner noted the unfit, but promised police will pursue the search “no matter what”.
“There’s been miles and miles of material and many exhibits taken and it will be examined, but that takes time.”
