SPOT: The best friend you need to keep you in check
The world’s first digital assistant has been launched to help save people from skin cancer.
Scott Maggs, also known as Jimmy Niggles, had been growing his beard since losing his friend to melanoma, only shaving it off when he raised $1 million.
As founder of Skin Check Champions, he worked to design SPOT to help at least 81,000 Aussies to book a skin check this summer.
Mr Maggs told Deborah Knight SPOT helps people keep on top of health checks.
“SPOT is kinda like the Microsoft paperclip but for skin checks.
“Sometimes it takes a good friend to do that role, and keep niggling you.”
