How massive bus and train industrial action will impact your commute
Train and bus commuters are being warned to expect significant disruptions when workers take industrial action this week and next.
Tomorrow (Friday December 3), bus drivers in the Inner West and south-west will strike for a stop work meeting between 5pm and 7pm.
On Monday December 6, the drivers will strike for a full 24 hours and have warned more industrial action could follow.
On Tuesday December 7, 75 per cent of Sydney Trains services will be impacted by industrial action, running to a reduced frequency on most lines.
T1 North Shore and Western, T2 Inner West and Leppington, T3 Bankstown, T4 Eastern Suburbs and Illawarra, T7 Olympic Park sprint and T8 Airport and South lines will all be heavily affected.
There will be no service on the T5 Cumberland line, and customers will need to change trains at Granville.
Buses will replace trains between Lidcombe and Bankstown, and Wollongong, Kiama and Port Kembla.
Blue Mountains and Central Coast services will run to a weekend timetable.
