NSW prepares to open up as vaccine rates stall
Most restrictions will be lifted in NSW from Wednesday, December 15.
Unvaccinated people will be able to enter non-essential businesses and masks will only be required on public transport, planes, airports, and for unvaccinated indoor front-of-house hospitality staff.
QR check-ins will no longer be required at restaurants and retail stores.
The state government had hoped to have 95 per cent of people fully vaccinated by the reopening date, but the rate currently sits at 93 per cent.
