A Current Affair reporter Seb Costello has retold the unbelievable moment broadcaster Rex Hunt foiled a would-be thief’s plans.

Costello was calling the Once Upon A Time boxing match in Melbourne on Saturday when his satchel was swiped from the back of his chair.

“I didn’t really see much of this,” he admitted to Mark Levy.

“But one person who did see this was big Rexie…”
