Annual marathon to lure 100,000 to Sydney Fish Markets
More than 100,000 people are expected to pass through the doors of the Sydney Fish Market’s 36-hour Seafood Marathon.
Rising COVID-19 infections across NSW won’t stop the 20-year tradition kicking off tomorrow, CEO Greg Dyer says.
He told Chris O’Keefe instead, strict safety measures will be in place.
“We’ll be recommending strongly that people wear masks, and we’ll be handing out thousands of masks across the day and a half.
“All of the people will be recommended to QR code in.
“We’ll be making sure we’re as safe as we can be in the circumstances.”
