Zac Efron ditched Hollywood comforts to brave the Aussie outback
Zac Efron is being hailed for his professionalism after getting down and dirty for the blockbuster film Gold.
The Stan Original Film was filmed in over 40-degree weather in South Australia.
Actor, director and co-writer Anthony Hayes told Deborah Knight they didn’t have access to an air-conditioned caravan in-between takes.
“It could have gone either way with a Hollywood actor of Zac Efron’s stature but he was right into it and worked really hard. He was great.
“I believe he broke his hand that he didn’t tell us about for a couple of weeks.”
