Terence Kelly pleads guilty to Cleo Smith abduction
36-year-old Terence Kelly has pleaded guilty to kidnapping four-year-old Cleo Smith from a Western Australia campsite.
Cleo went missing from a tent while camping with her parents at Quobba Blowholes in October, 2021.
Police found her 18 days later after she was allegedly held at a Carnarvon residence by Mr Kelly.
The case has been adjourned until March, where a sentencing date is expected to be set.
Mr Kelly also faced a new charge of assaulting a public officer which allegedly took place in the watch house the day after his arrest.
There was no plea entered on that charge.
