Despite winning convincingly in the recent Ashes series, Australian Cricket Coach Justin Langer is fighting for his job.

The coach has been asked to re-apply for his job and the future in the role remains uncertain.

After having a ‘meltdown’ in a recent meeting the odds aren’t in Langer’s favour.

Chief Cricket Writer at the Sydney Morning Herald Malcolm Conn has told Mark Levy, “I feel for Justin, I think he’s been treated very badly by Cricket Australia”.

With the head role being judged on results Mark Levy has said “What more can he do?”

Mr Conn believes it remains to be seen what will happen next but Langer is: “Definitely hanging on”.
