The ‘Big Australia’ debate

Luke Grant

Luke Grant speaks with Abul Rizvi, Former deputy secretary of the department of Immigration, about his book ‘Population Shock.’  Mr Rizvi recently helped us understand the intricacies of the Novak Djokovic case and it was at the end of this conversation that he mentioned his book.

As somebody who lived and breathed population and immigration policy in his professional life, Luke discusses the current state of the debate in Australia, the ‘bring them all in’ versus the smaller Australia advocates.

Abul has some wonderful insights into other countries around the world including China that he says will face, sometime this century, a population much, much less than what it is now.
