Former Major General reacts to death of Islamic State leader
The head of Islamic State is dead as a result of a raid in north-west Syria.
The raid targeted Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi, who took over as head of the militant group on October 31, 2019, just days after leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi died during a US raid.
US officials say he exploded a bomb that killed himself and members of his family.
Senator Jim Molan told Ben Fordham this is a “really good achievement”.
“It probably also helps President Biden as well.”
