Luke Grant is joined by Caroline Di Russo, lawyer and commentator from Perth who made the point yesterday in a piece for Sky News that voters need to know what the Liberal Party stands for.

Ms Di Russo says the political parties are falling over themselves to tell voters what they think we want to hear, generally about non mainstream issues, but voters are rightly concerned about their lives and livelihoods; the costs of living, economic recovery, jobs, and getting about their business.

She says, “we are coming out of a crisis and we need leadership on the big issues and leadership on big issues requires a return to values, policy and reform.  Sadly, too few politicians believe in anything except their own entitlement to re-election, which has nothing to do with values, policy or reform for the betterment of the nation”.
