There has been a heavy push for COVID vaccine mandates for NSW RFS volunteers amid a hesitancy from the Commissioner.

New South Wales Public Service Association General Secretary Stewart Little told Ray Hadley,  “It seems there is a loss of leadership on this issue”.

“They really have to grasp the nettle here and make it mandatory for volunteers to be vaccinated.”

The Association has called an urgent meeting, with some volunteers still unvaccinated against COVID-19.

Ray went on to say that NSW RFS Commissioner Rob Rogers “for some lame brain reason doesn’t have the balls to actually do something about it”.

“He’s not prepared to have the bottle!”
